Literally nobody in the health care industry likes this bill.

The chaos and misery it would unleash are practically undebatable.

So why are they doing this? Two reasons, I think.

(1)  Sanders and others have been talking about, and getting endorsements for, “Medicare For All” (i.e. universal health).  For Graham and others, this screams “socialism”.  They don’t quite understand that the concept of insurance IS socialist in nature (“pooling risk”).

(2) There are still people in the Republican party who don’t like Obama’s name attached to anything, even if it benefits them. So they want to get rid of Obamacare, period.
