Trump v. Mazars LLP: Can US House committee subpoena financial records of Trump and his businesses? 7-2 (same 7-2 as below). Yes if for a proper legislative purpose. Court below must decide if there is a proper legislative purpose, taking into account separation of powers issues. Basically a punt. Win for libs because Trump has no absolute immunity, but good for Trump because there is delay.

Trump v Vance: Can Manhattan DA subpoena financial records of Trump and his businesses? 7-2. Yes he can. President does not have absolute immunity. Kavanaugh and Gorsuch (the two Trump appointees) join with the majority including Roberts, Kagan, Breyer, RGB, and Sotomayor (heh!). Goes back down to district court which might cause some delay.
